Ieri 4 gennaio 2008 nel locale piu' "friendly" che c'e' a Viterbo,l'"En Femme", si e' esibito Alex Maugeri,eclettico ed estroso performer,coadiuvato da due eccellenti musicisti orientali,una violoncellista e un contrabassista sviluppando un repertorio elettro acustico estremamente teatrale.Ho riconosciuto gran parte dei brani di David Bowie,"Femme Fatale "di Lou Reed che Maugeri ha dedicato a tutte le "regine" in sala e altri brani molto romantici e comunque riusciti ma non specificati nel titolo.La performance e' stata supportata da una proiezione molto colorata e dal sapore "camp" in stile Warholiano.L'anno si e' aperto bene e all'insegna delle buone suggestioni musicali qui nella sonnolenta Viterbo.

Hey there Steve,
Way to keep playing, great new album, brings back memories of the deer lease and having a cold beer around the campfire while you played. I'm way up here in Ohio now so you can call me your Northern Ambassasdor. I have played your CD for quite a few people here and they really like it. Guess you could say they finally got a taste of Texas songwriting at it's best. Keep it going, hope to see you on my next trip back to Texas!!

Congrats on the new CD, and all the reviews. Can't wait to hear it. I looked last week at Hastings for it, but all they had was Hand Me Down Land. Hope to see ya'll soon.
